Edward Castro started his career in the BPO industry in 2000 as a Technical Support Engineer for Sykes Asia, Philippines. In a span of 16 years, Edward moved up the ranks and managed various leadership positions within the company, contributing to the year on year growth and expansion of the organization. By 2011, he had the full ownership and responsibility in managing a 2500 FTE strong business unit, consisting of an eclectic collection of accounts, covering the technical, consumer and financial verticals.
As SVP of our Philippine Operations, Edward ensures the platform’s operational excellence, client satisfaction, Leadership Development and Continuous Process Improvement.
I am a big football fan and I enjoy getting my hands on the newest kits and gear. Before, I would need to order online from the US and Europe, spend a lot on shipping and wait a couple of weeks before my orders arrive. When Bootcamp opened up, I was pleasantly surprised with their wide selection, carrying multiple brands and products. They pretty much had anything and everything football related.
